The history of Swedish bitters traces back to the 16th century, when Dr. Paracelsus came up with a potent and a very powerful combination that remains popular to date. This is a potent digestive tonic with roots to herbal medicines used as a European folk medicine back in the 16th century. It is known for its stimulating bitter element. The health benefits Swedish Bitters are known to contain are more than meets the eyes. The herbs are instrumental for almost all medical conditions.

For pregnant women, it helps calm nausea, manage heart burns, and sharpen the sense of taste. However, the pregnant women are required to use the remedy only with permission from the doctor as some herbs may be dangerous for pregnancy.
