Work environments come with a lot of pressure from performance to clients and personal issues, among others. This pressure must not stop you from performing or fulfilling your responsibilities. Be conscious of the work environment you are expected to be in. Each environment is unique and will come with different types and kinds of pressure. Set and work towards clear goals instead of focusing on side shows. Serve the client according to laid protocol regardless of his or her personality. Deliver results without too much focus on the actions of your boss. When you constantly hit your goals, unwarranted pressure will subside. The drama will no control your life because you have inner peace of fulfilling expectations.

Have a clear job description and expectations. This helps you to prepare and effectively handle the issues that might arise. The expectations and descriptions will inform how you handle seniors, juniors and clients. You cease to be answer to queries that are outside your description.
